Unfortunately, the deer *can* outwit the blasted things--so we have to drag them in at dusk and hang them out again at dawn, lest the Bambi tribe gorge itself every night at our considerable expense.<br /><br />Meanwhile, any update on your possibly nesting flickers? The spring migrants are still rolling through here. Had a brief visit from an Eastern towhee a few days ago, which may be a first for my yard list, although I used to see them regularly as a kid in Tennessee.A.
