Busy getting ready to move (before winter) to senior housing.  Remarkable how happy I will be to get rid of things I've treasured -- signatures, for instance, of Jane Austen and Samuel Pepys.  Don't understand it, but it's handy.

  1. It certainly is handy! In fact, you have been systematically divesting yourself of things - valuable and otherwise - for years. Makes it so much easier to finish the job now! Way to go.

  2. Good for you, Edith! You will enjoy your new surroundings more than you know.

  4. I had a feeling this would be happening soon when we "Ladies of August" visited recently. But you've certainly done your prep work for this, as Dov and Georgina have noted. Glad to have visited you at Hemingway Drive one last time, and all good wishes on the move.
