For a bit there in the bleak hours of last night I thought it was
time to stop writing the blog – hope this morning's post, which I just deleted, didn’t lose me too many viewers? readers? “eyeballs”
they used to say in the early days of Internet sites, and I always wondered if
a site that boasted 1,000 eyeballs had 1,000 viewers or 500 viewers (think about it.)
Anyhow, I’ve taken down this morning’s l’envoi because I realized I
never got around to writing about my first typewriter. Don’t touch that dial; we’ll be back in a
moment with typewriters.
These two eyeballs are reading your posts. I missed the early morning one that you deleted. (Thankfully) I look forward to reading about your life and thoughts.

We must consider that some of your readers have vision only in one eye. This complicates matters. For heaven's sake, DON'T stop! The world is infinite!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read enough of your posts yet, so you can't stop yet. Okay, maybe that doesn't make sense, but it's the best I can do. Really, I post in my own blog maybe once or twice a year. Doesn't mean I should stop, does it?
